Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part-time Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our customers. This role is suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment with a focus on customer service and safe driving practices.
Duties
- Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations within the designated area
- Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Complete relevant paperwork for each delivery
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transit
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
