About the Role
We’re looking for people with experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge, ideally within community-based settings such as supported living or residential care.
Knowledge or experience with experience with complex care needs - tracheostomy's , suctioning , nebulisers , peg feeds is a real advantage .
As a Bank Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting independence, building life skills, and encouraging positive outcomes—all while fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Shift Patterns:
- Vary dependant on the person you are supporting ! these can be 8 hrs or 12 hrs .
Daily activities
- Leisure and Recreational activities
- Assisting with personal shopping
- Eating Out
- Day centre
- school / college
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in care/support roles, ideally with Autism and learning disability’s
- Calm, resilient, and patient approach
- Team player who values consistency and structure
- Full UK driving licence with car and business insurance
