Overview

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the supervision of kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including food storage areas.
- Monitor food production processes to ensure quality and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Assist with menu planning and development, providing input based on seasonal ingredients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to supervise junior staff members.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to create exceptional dining experiences for guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
