The Role
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills and confidence delivering lessons to secondary-aged pupils in the absence of their class teacher.
- Lesson plans, registers, and behavior management details are provided by the school
- No planning or marking required, unless you're in a long-term contract (always paid to job salary scale from day 1 - £168.80 minimum)
- You'll help to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Adhere to KCSIE guidelines
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Referenceable teaching experience
- Confident communicating with pupils aged 11–16 years
- Comfortable managing behaviour and maintaining engagement
- A commitment to participation, development, and learning
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with pupils and staff
- Willingness to undertake safeguarding training
