We are looking for an experienced VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Driver with a PPT licence to join a warehouse in Great Blakenham, Ipswich. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will have a valid VNA license, PPT license, experience handling large and abnormal loads, and own transport to the site.
Pay: £17.20 (Umbrella pay)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week 17.30pm-02.30am
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a VNA forklift to safely move, store, and retrieve stock within narrow aisles.
- Operate a PPT to transport pallets across the warehouse
- Handle abnormal-sized pallets (e.g., up to 2.5m x 4m Aluminium Sheets) with care and precision.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for scanning, tracking, and inventory management.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, performing regular equipment checks.
- Assist with stock control, inventory audits, and general warehouse duties as required.
- Work Monday to Friday, 17.30-02.30 (with occasional overtime during busy periods).
Requirements:
- Valid VNA forklift license with proven operational experience.
- Valid PPT license with proven operational experience.
- Own transport to commute to Great Blakenham, Ipswich.
- Experience handling large or abnormal-sized loads.
- Proficiency in using WMS scanning systems.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
