SW Couriers Ltd are looking to recruit experienced Delivery Drivers to join our ever-expanding team based near Erdington, Birmingham.

In your new role, you will be working alongside a small team responsible for maintaining full customer satisfaction by ensuring all items are at the highest standard and are delivered OTIF (on time in full). You will identify any missing or damaged orders and report back to the Transport team.
SW Couriers is the dedicated courier for Skirting World Ltd, delivering parcels around the whole of the UK. We have invested heavily in the most up-to-date technology to help our drivers succeed in offering an excellent service to customers.
We use a bespoke delivery software package to assist drivers with navigation, route planning, signature capture, customer communication, and more.
We deliver to most parts of the UK daily, including central London, mainly to residential properties. Early starts are required, with an estimated 3 to 20 drops per day depending on location and volume. Parcels mainly consist of lengths up to 4.2m long and can weigh up to 20kg each. Stop overs (overnight stays) form part of the role when delivering to distant areas.
Our fleet includes long wheelbase vans and we are expanding into 7.5 tonne vehicles.
Experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role is essential.

Personal Requirements
- Proficient in computerised methods and apps
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure

- Capable of lifting and handling heavy parcels
- Proactively work towards team goals
- Full UK driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence (NO drink or drug-related convictions accepted)
Salary
- £13.20 Per Hour
- Monday to Friday, Occasional Saturdays
- 28 days Holidays
Working Hours
Start and finish times can vary depending on the route, load, and delivery schedule. Shifts will typically fall between 4:00am and 6:00am (or within legal driving and working time limits). Early starts are often required, particularly for longer routes, and the role will involve stop overs (overnight stays).
