Night Shift Press Brake
Salary: £38,000 per annum (£28,600 basic + 33% shift allowance)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Night Press brake Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with Press Brake experience looking to join a stable business offering long-term career prospects and a competitive salary package.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for operating and setting machinery to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Press Brake machinery to produce components to specification
- Setting up and adjusting machinery to meet production requirements
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
- Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults or issues
- Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous Press Brake operating experience (essential)
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Desirable Skills
- Punch Machine operating experience
- Experience working with sheet metal products
- Previous experience working permanent night shifts

Ideal Candidate
You will be an experienced machine operator with strong Press Brake knowledge, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with Punch Machine experience will be at an advantage, although this is not essential.
