Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plastering team of two to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior walls, ceilings to empty kitchens in social housing,ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and using hand tools and power tools
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying bonding agents to ensure proper adhesion
- Mixing plaster materials accurately according to specifications
- Repairing or restoring existing plasterwork to improve appearance and durability
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards
- Must be reliable
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plastering
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in plastering
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required
- Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are preferred but not essential
