Central Recruitment are seeking skilled and reliable Electricians to work on a new project in the Swansea/Neath area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialised tools and techniques, then perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete projects accurately
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety procedures
- Collaborate with team members and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each task
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults before they escalate
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in an industrial or construction environment
- Strong electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring practices, circuit design, and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team setting
