Encocam Ltd are searching for a dedicated and skilled Production Operative to join our Bespoke Composite Panels (BCP) division to work at our factory based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
BCP specialises in crafting advanced composite structures and panels designed for durability, precision, and performance across a wide variety of industries. They include Aerospace, Marine, Rail, Industrial Printing, and Automotive. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate, monitor and undertake cleaning, loading and unloading of machinery (e.g. heated press, industrial ovens, CNC routers etc)
- Assist in the production of vacuum and architectural products (training will be provided).
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, amongst other yard work (counterbalance forklift training is required) therefore heavy lifting will be required.
- Completion of routine department paperwork and adhering to administrative and quality and technical procedures. Understanding of computers is required.
- Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Knowledge of composite structures and/or bonding processes is advantageous, but not essential. You must also have the ability to work well both within a team and independently, ensuring excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
