About Pola
Pola is a fast-growing, award-winning real fruit ice pop brand based in Nottingham. We manufacture premium fruit ice pops and supply customers nationwide. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Hygiene & Cleaning Operative to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety within our production facility.
The Role
This is an important role within our production team, ensuring our equipment and facility are cleaned thoroughly after each day's production and ready for the following day.
As you'll often be responsible for locking up the unit at the end of your shift, we're looking for someone who is trustworthy, dependable and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning production machinery to strict food hygiene standards
- Dismantling and reassembling machine components for cleaning
- Washing production equipment, utensils and containers
- Cleaning and sanitising food-grade hoses and pipework
- Mopping and cleaning production floors and work surfaces
- Inspecting potentialy faulty products.
- Completing cleaning tasks to company procedures and hygiene standards
- Locking up the production unit at the end of your shift
- Supporting with other general production and housekeeping duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable with moderate lifting
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for maintaining high standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Happy working in a busy food production environment
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification is preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate
Hours & Pay
- Approximately 30 hours per week
- Monday–Friday (potentially some weekend work)
- Approximately 3:00pm–9:00pm (subject to change depending on production demand)
