Overview
The Sensational Sandwich shop is the brain child of Fraser Searle’s viral channel Sensational Sandwiches (search 'Sensational Sandwiches' on Instagram).
This is our first site and we are looking for team members to learn and grow with our new business!
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and set measurements
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including utensils and equipment
- Serve customers promptly with a friendly and professional attitude
- Upsell additional menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in restocking ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant environment is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control are required
- Experience in kitchen operations or culinary roles will be considered a plus
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanour and professional appearance
