FJB Scotland, a family-run construction company, are looking to employ a General builder on a full time basis. The ideal candidate can not only build stone and lay blocks but can also perform other tasks like slabbing, kerbing, pouring and finishing concrete.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build stonework and blockwork from scratch
- Construct and repair walls, foundations, and other structures.
- Read and interpret construction plans and drawings accurately.
- Ensure high-quality finishes
- Pour and finish concrete
- Work collaboratively with other trades and site teams.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations on-site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience and a willingness to work.
- Knowledge of different stonework/bricklaying techniques and materials.
- Strong understanding of site safety and construction protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- UK driving licence.
