Job Title: Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver
Location: Worsley, M28
Hours: 40–60 hours per week (including some overtime)
Salary: £12.71 during training, £14.00 upon completion of training
About the Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining a Class 2 road sweeper vehicle across a range of commercial, construction, and public sites.
This is a full-time position offering 40–60 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 2 road sweeper safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance
- Keep accurate records of work completed
- Liaise with site managers and clients as required
- Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- CPC qualification and Digi Tacho Card
- Experience operating road sweepers preferred (training can be provided)
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends
- A positive attitude and good time management skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
