Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes in line with company standards. The Powder Coater will work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the production of durable, aesthetically pleasing products.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to coating application
- Operate powder coating equipment accurately and efficiently to achieve consistent coverage
- Maintain and monitor spray guns and other application tools for optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality, colour consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Perform minor repairs or touch-ups as required to meet quality standards
- Assist with the setup and calibration of coating machinery and related equipment
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality targets
Requirements
- Proven experience or knowledge in powder coating processes is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding, and fabrication techniques are advantageous
- Experience working in warehouse environments, construction painting, or assembly roles is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
