We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client based in Newtown. This is a long-term opportunity with a well-established company working within the food distribution sector.
Duties Include:
- Goods in and stock handling
- Picking, checking, and packing orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Stock control and checking best before dates
- Maintaining high hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Working to strict daily deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, however we are happy to consider anybody with the right attitude.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and being on your feet throughout the shift
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, hard-working, and willing to work
- Courteous, polite, and presentable
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
Please note, this is an active role involving regular lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the day. Due to the nature of the products, good hygiene standards are essential.
