Nursing Direct, sister company to Nursdoc, is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to support individuals with complex care needs across Bishop's Stortford and Hertfordshire.
We are offering short, flexible shifts, making this role ideal for working parents, those with other commitments, or healthcare professionals looking to boost their income around an existing job.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals with experience in complex care, home care, mental health, or supporting individuals with challenging behaviours. PMVA training is desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care in home and supported living environments
- Offering emotional and physical support in a safe and positive setting
- Monitoring and responding appropriately to individual needs and behaviours
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
- Adhering to safeguarding and infection control procedures
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' UK care experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in Complex Care and Home Care
- Valid Enhanced DBS (within the last year or registered on the Update Service)
- Compassionate, dependable, and confident in managing challenging situations
Preferred requirements:
- PMVA or equivalent behaviour management training
