Sales Negotiator
Location: Southwold, Suffolk
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 basic salary (depending on experience) + commission
OTE: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm, plus every other Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market-leading independent estate agency in the beautiful coastal town of Southwold. Due to continued success and growth, our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Negotiator to become part of their established and highly regarded team.
This role would suit someone with previous estate agency experience; however, applications are also welcomed from individuals looking to start a career in property, provided they possess excellent local knowledge, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Registering and qualifying prospective buyers.
- Arranging and conducting property viewings.
- Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Generating new business opportunities and referrals.
- Managing sales progression from offer agreed through to completion.
- Providing exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent knowledge of Southwold and the surrounding area.
- Be articulate, professional, and confident when communicating with clients.
- Be well-presented and customer-focused.
- Possess a strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Be motivated by targets and delivering results.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
Experience
- Previous estate agency experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience in a customer-facing sales or service environment would be beneficial.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering outstanding service are essential.
