Precision Builders Cornwall Ltd is looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated General Builder to join our expanding team on a self employed basis initially.
We specialise in high-quality residential projects across Cornwall, including extensions, renovations, refurbishments and bespoke new builds. We take pride in delivering excellent workmanship and are looking for someone who shares the same high standards.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be involved in a wide range of building work, including:
- Brick and blockwork
- Concreting
- Basic carpentry skills desirable
- Timber framing
- Plasterboarding and drylining
- Roofing works desirable
- General building and finishing works
- Reading and working from construction drawings
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised site
- Working independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Proven experience within the construction industry
- Ability to carry out a variety of general building tasks to a high standard
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Full UK driving licence and own transport as jobs will be around West Cornwall
- Own hand tools
- CSCS card preferred but not essential
- Self-employed status with possible employed position in future.
