Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Change bed linens and organise rooms to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures when required
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with clients or guests
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
- Basic cooking skills are considered advantageous but are not essential
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
