Our medium sized organization is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced estimator to join our team covering all aspects within the Carpentry & Roofing sector which specialize in new-build housing developments, student accommodation, schools and hospitals.
This role will entail assisting the Quantity Surveyor & Director's, by providing accurate preparation and submission of Tenders/quotations including site visits, studying and examining drawings to take off quantities and prepare a costing schedule/bill of quantities,
The successful candidate will;
- Be punctual and possess good customer facing skills
- Issuing enquiries and ensuring the work is prioritized to follow up on enquires to ensure delivery
- Highly organized, positive and capable to work to deadlines and targets.
- Motivated and keen to identify potential opportunities for introduction of new innovations and industry products
- Establish and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors and assessing the risk level associated with a project.
- Strong IT skills with a sound knowledge of Excel, Word, and field service or similar software
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures including Health and Safety, Environmental and sustainability
