Job Purpose:
Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Prepper at our Preparation Centre Site in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support and your career development. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 15:00pm – 01:00am and Friday, 15:00pm – 20:00pm
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepping vehicles prior to painting.
- Masking vehicles prior to painting.
- Minor filler work.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
- Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Driving licence required.
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Any job offer that requires driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check, and applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.
