Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong sense of organisation, and a commitment to customer service. This position requires, physical stamina, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, across designated routes
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Collect signatures or proof of delivery from customers as required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and health & safety regulations during operations
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Strong manual handling skills, including the ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Good knowledge of local routes and basic navigation tools (GPS, apps, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 42 per week
