About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified Nursery Nurse to work across a range of early years settings on a short term basis, or work in one of our Nursery settings on a long term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate early years professional looking for flexibility, variety, and the potential to secure a permanent position.
You will be responsible for supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of young children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment at all times.
We have opportunities to support children in EYFS with SEND, if this is something you are passionate about.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging early years environment
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet individual children’s needs
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent)
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work short-term or long-term assignments
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience or training in Phonics
- Knowledge of Makaton
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
