SEN Support Worker / Preston

We are currently recruiting for SEN Residential Support Workers for both day and night specialist services that support young people with complex needs in our 3-4 bedroom residential homes. The services are associated with a nearby specialist SEN school.
These homes provide a nurturing and safe environment, ensuring each young person receives the tailored care and support they deserve.
Overview:
- Title: Support Worker / Autism - Nights and Days available
- Location: PR2 & PR3
- Shifts: Full Time Days - 3 on, 4 off and also shorter shifts (7.30am-4pm and 3.30pm - 10pm) available (PR2)
- We also have FT and PT night shifts available (20 hour and 40 hour)
- Days - Part Time - 30 hours 3 x 10 hours shifts
- Pay: Support Worker - Starting £28,080, Team Leader £35,280, Deputy Manager £37,502

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people, including those with challenging behaviours and complex needs
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Implement and follow individualised care plans to meet the needs of each young person
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the young people at all times
- Support young people to engage with their education at School
- Be flexible with shifts, including providing waking night support when required
The Candidate:
- Have a passion for working with young people with complex needs
- Have experience working in a similar residential setting
- Car driver is desirable
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Have the right to work in the UK
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Families / Young People or similar experience for the Team Leader Role.
