Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and communal areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linen supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks during busy periods or special events as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Friendly attitude with good communication skills
