Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school's curriculum and policies
- Manage the classroom environment, maintaining good discipline and promoting positive behaviour
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support learning
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Follow lesson plans and school procedures to ensure smooth transitions and consistent teaching
- Communicate effectively with school staff, pupils, and where appropriate, parents
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and ensure the welfare of all pupils
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS2 curriculum, preferably Year 6
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and student needs
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for teaching and commitment to student development
