Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sourcing Co-ordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, sourcing all materials, and ensuring that we are given the best possible price and terms of all purchases for our plastic injection moulding business.
The ideal applicant should possess strong communication skills to optimise sourcing strategies and support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet organisational needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Source and contact suppliers to negotiate and secure best possible terms.
- Analyse market trends to identify potential new suppliers or alternative sourcing options.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or costs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of activities in compliance with organisational policies.
Experience
- Must have prior experience in sourcing materials for plastics manufacturing including all the ancillary purchases.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
For the right candidate there is a possibility of taking on the actual purchasing role in the future.
Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
