Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Removal Man to join our team for late finish shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient loading, transportation, and unloading of goods. Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse work, or commercial driving is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment requiring strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Applicants must be organised, punctual, and capable of working late hours to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring secure handling of goods
- Assist with the transportation of furniture and equipment to designated locations
- Use appropriate lifting techniques to manage heavy or bulky items
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements
- Ensure all items are transported in accordance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area before, during, and after moves
- Assist with warehouse duties as required, including stock organisation and inventory checks
Requirements
- Delivery driver experience or commercial driving background preferred
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence or equivalent qualification necessary
- Experience in warehouse operations or heavy lifting tasks advantageous
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Reliable with a flexible attitude towards late finish shifts
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Please note that this is an early start and a late finish. You’ll start as early as 6am to get to the first house/flat and can be back as late as 10pm depending on how far out the travelling is.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
