We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our friendly team at Snip It in Selsey.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about hair and keen to learn in a supportive, real‑salon environment. You’ll gain hands‑on experience from the very beginning, working alongside experienced stylists and building strong foundations in hairdressing.
We’re not a stand‑and‑watch salon. From your first week, you’ll be actively supporting clients and getting involved in the day‑to‑day running of the salon. This role would suit someone who enjoys communicating with people and feels that a professional salon environment is the right fit for them, rather than a purely college‑based setting.
You’ll be enrolled with a professional salon training school, attending college every Monday while working towards your hairdressing qualification. We are ideally looking for school leavers who are eager to support the salon over the summer and begin their apprenticeship as soon as possible. We’d also welcome applications from those who have completed a year of in‑college hairdressing and are looking to move into an apprenticeship in a salon environment they feel better suits them.

Pay: £8.00 per hour
