SALARY: £14.05 Per Hour
JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a hands on night operations supervisor with Fork Lift Truck experience to oversee warehouse activities during the overnight shift.
This role would suit someone with strong leadership skills, that has good attention to details and the confidence to operate safely and professionally, whilst remaining calm under pressure and being able to lead by example.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role is responsible for:
- Overseeing overnight shift operations
- Reporting any issues to management
- Allocation of runs (holiday cover) – Systems training will be given.
- Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently to move palletised goods around site and the unloading and loading of vehicles in line with company procedures and schedules.
- Correctly scanning freight to meet network deadlines.
- Complying with all aspects of Health and Safety on site.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support general warehouse duties where required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexible
- Counter-balance forklift certificate desirable, but training will be provided.
- Good IT skills.
- Strong communication skills with a variety of people.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work under strict time constraints.
- Trustworthy.
