Motor Vehicle Technician Required
What you can expect as a Vehicle Technician:
- 40 – 42.5 hours a week
- Monday - Friday
- 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break
- 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½
- Salary between £39,750 - £45,750 OTE

The Role of a Vehicle Technician:
- Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
- Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
- General maintenance and repairs
- Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
- Suspension work
- Repairs on lights
- Repairing and replacing exhausts
- Repairing and replacing clutches
- Dealing with gearboxes
- Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
- MUST have an NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3
- Hold a full valid driver license - No major convictions DD, DR IN etc
- You will be required to carry out a security DBS Check
- Previous garage experience required, any commercial vehicle experience is beneficial but not essential
