We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join us at Westaway Subaru. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Subaru and other vehicles. Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance procedures and minimise downtime
Skills
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering are desirable but not essential
- A valid driving licence.
Pay: £32,500.00-£45,000.00 per year
