Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Assistant to join our team in the UK. This role is vital in ensuring effective cost management and project success, aligning with our company's commitment to professionalism and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with pricing and preparing quotations
- Measuring and preparing take-offs from drawings
- Producing and reviewing Bills of Quantities
- Submitting valuations and final accounts
- Assisting with cost control and project tracking
- General office administration and support
- Liaising with suppliers, clients and subcontractors
- Helping to improve internal systems and processes
- Qualifications
- Has a basic understanding of Quantity Surveying / construction pricing
- Is organised, reliable and willing to learn
- Has good communication skills
- Is comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Can work as part of a team in a busy environment
- Has experience within the construction, plumbing or mechanical sector (preferred but not essential)
