Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Summer Part Time Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry while delivering exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and eager to learn, with a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in hospitality. We have mainly weekend shifts available with potentially a few weekday shifts during the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables to maintain a clean and organised dining area
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and offering recommendations
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining a genuine approach
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Support food preparation tasks as required, including basic garnishing and presentation
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure prompt delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and particularly during the summer months
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment

Pay: £10.85-£12.76 per hour
