Our Service Users all have complex healthcare needs, and therefore this candidate will be happy to undertake extensive in-house and online training. This person will be able to complete moving and handling tasks with ease and have a 'hands on' and 'can do' attitude.
We have an exciting opportunity to join a team supporting our client in North Walsham.
The Job Role:
Our young, neurodiverse Client lives in a family home environment and attends an SEN school.
This will be a 2 to 1 package, so team work will be a big part part of your job role! Support is required on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday and will be 14 hours a week. However, more hours will be required on school holidays.
He requires support workers who are able to assist someone with learning disabilities and behavioral challenges - experience with this is essential. Our client is highly active, so you will need to be able to keep up.
A Full UK Drivers license is also essential for getting to and from the property.
Responsibilities:
- Personal care
- Medication management
- Completion of daily recording paperwork
- Reporting safeguarding concerns
- Excellent communication with the Nurse Lead and Care co-ordinator
