Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant for a seasonal position at our West Porthmeor location, serving pizzas and Greek food. This role is supporting the kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering high standards of service during the busy season.
Duties
- Ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and hygienic
- Wash, dry, and store crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently
- Support the wider hospitality team during service periods to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, or culinary practices is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work seasonal hours including weekends and peak periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector
The shift patterns will be spread over the week, with a mix of AM and PM shifts, weekend shifts are essential.
Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
