Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mesh Wall Installer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing mesh walls in various settings, ensuring safety, precision, and durability. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry, utilising a range of specialised skills and tools. Candidates should be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Measure and mark installation areas according to project specifications using schematics and technical drawings
- Cut, shape, and fabricate mesh panels to fit designated spaces using hand tools and power tools
- Secure mesh walls using appropriate fasteners, welding techniques, or other fixing methods
- Assist with the assembly of supporting frameworks such as carpentry or masonry components when required
- Follow health and safety protocols during all phases of installation to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, or plastering teams when necessary
- Inspect completed installations for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry,
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to mesh wall installation
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with construction site safety procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of construction materials including mesh panels, fasteners, and supporting frameworks
- Prior exposure to working with welding or fabrication techniques is beneficial but not essential
