Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of dining areas
- Handle guest queries courteously, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred ; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or culinary roles is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- A proactive attitude towards guest services and upselling techniques
