Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to specified recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist in plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts
- Support the team during busy periods, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or similar kitchen roles
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
- Serving experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is important
