Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pallet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background experience working in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate would of had timber/wood working experience. This role involves assembling wooden pallets using various power tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and durability of the pallets produced while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Assemble pallets according to specified designs and dimensions.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to fabricate pallets.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate various tools effectively.
- Experience with heavy lifting, as this role requires physical stamina.
- Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools is essential.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
