Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves engaging with customers, taking orders over the phone, managing orders, and supporting the overall operation of our establishment. Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or food service is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take orders over the phone and handle any issues
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in a courteous manner
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Support chef duties if applicable, including preparing food and packaging food
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Manage cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in restaurant service or as a barista is desirable
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and guest needs
