Ashbourne Care home is looking for a Night Senior Carer to join its team. The hours will be 33 hours on shift basis, over 3 days.
Main duties will involve:
To ensure Residents retain their dignity, independence and individuality at all times.
To work as part of a team to provide and maintain professional standards in accordance with the principles of care as set out by the guidelines of the NMC.
To be committed to delivering safe & effective care
To ensure that a high standard of care is provided at all times
To create and maintain person centred service user care plans
To monitor and manage the health and well-being of our Residents
To manage and administer medication if required
To assist in the general day-to-day activities within the Home.
To maintain a safe and secure environment for Residents, staff Members and visitors.
To provide personal care e.g.; washing, feeding
Job Requirements:
Diploma Level 2 or equivalent.
2 years of previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Must possess a positive attitude and be passionate about working with vulnerable adults, delivering person centred care
Having a caring and compassionate nature
Leadership skills to be able to lead a shift and direct Care Assistants
