Samac Fixings Ltd is a leading national distributor of fixings based in the Wickford, Essex area. Established in 2004 we supply a comprehensive range of nails, screws and associated products to the building, timber & fencing merchants across the UK.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Picking stock & palletising ready for despatch
- Stock replenishments using pump truck
- Movement of stock from the goods-in area to overstocks.
- Picking/Packing
- Stock replenishments
- General warehouse maintenance keeping all locations and isles free of debris, sweeping, and clearing all area’s
- Health & Safety
- Unloading containers
Knowledge & Skills will include:
- Counterbalance advantageous but not essential.
- Attention to detail & good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Knowledge of H&S & Warehouse procedures
- Working with a small team & can-do attitude
- Full driving licence would essential due to location (employee would be expected to get themselves to & from work)
Candidates will ideally have previous warehouse experience, applicants will be expected to lift heavy materials daily and be reliable, flexible & trustworthy.
