Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in GB. Based in our expanding company located in GB, this role is vital for producing high-quality metal components that support our projects and uphold our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal accurately.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machinery for different production runs.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during operation.
- Perform quality checks on finished products.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with fabrication team to meet project deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
- Cut material using a guillotine prior to processing
- Use of forklift truck, experience is beneficial but training can be provided
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in metal fabrication.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal working processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tooling.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work safely in a workshop environment.
- Prior experience with industrial roofing or cladding is a plus.
