Due to a sustained period of growth, we are currently looking for HGV CLASS 2 Drivers for an immediate start, based at our Swindon depot.
Average working week 45 hours
You will have a drivers mate on heavier routes.
Fixed start times (No rotas)
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing excellent customer service
- Delivering customer orders accurately and on time.
- Collecting monies.
- Maintaining product temperature.
- Checking vehicles to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
- Complying with Health & Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other vehicle related legislation.
- Working with a driver's mate delivering to our customers.
ABOUT YOU
- Valid CLASS II LICENSE & Ideally 1-year experience of Class 2 driving
- CPC card
- Digital Tachograph card.
We can provide CPC training for drivers that require it.
Experience preferred, but full training will be provided.
Working hours are Monday-Friday day shift work – NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS. Start / finish times will vary, according to the route you are assigned, so a degree of flexibility around working hours is essential.
