Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Label Planner to join our dynamic team. The Production Label Planner will work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Reports to the Team Manager but works closely on a day-to-day basis with production operatives, ensuring that they:
- Produce Product Labels, pallet labels and any other documentation for Production
- Working with the Team Manager, sharing thoughts and keeping everyone up to date with day-to-day orders.
- To assist with the organisation and planning of orders on a day-to-day basis with the Team manager.
- To monitor and order equipment that is important to keep the orders being filled.
- Carry out work as requested to the required standards and in accordance with training, health & safety, and environmental standards.
- Work with the Team Manager to ensure that output and quality & delivery targets are achieved and that all relevant health, safety standards are observed
- Monitor Labels and equipment for the label/production unit, ensuring equipment is maintained / repaired and in safe working order.
- To keep a stock take of Labels to make sure production runs smoothly.
- Assist in stock take of materials when requested
- Report any defects or Health and Safety issue
- Keep good housekeeping and organisation
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience with Word Excel.
- Experience with Desktop Publishing.
