DMOS People are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer for a brilliant business based in the Kidderminster area.
The company are searching for an individual who is comfortable with drawing sheet metal products & holds strong SolidWorks experience. The business are based within the security industry, with previous experience in security based design being extremely beneficial.
The Role
- Lead the design & prototype development for new product concepts
- Conduct material & performance testing in with standards
- Research new materials, hardware & manufacturing techniques suitable for security applications
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results, design iterations & project outcomes
Requirements
- HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development or similar
- Strong hands-on prototyping & problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret & apply UK & EU security testing standards
- Proficient in CAD software - SolidWorks
