The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally throughout the school day.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting with classroom learning activities and lesson delivery
- Supporting children with additional learning needs including Autism and ADHD
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement
- Helping pupils develop social and communication skills
- Supporting classroom routines and transitions throughout the school day
- Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
