Humly is working in partnership with a client school to recruit passionate and resilient Outdoor Learning & Activities Instructors to support students within an alternative education setting.
This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver engaging outdoor and activity-based learning, helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and key life skills. You will work closely with academic and therapeutic teams to support, motivate and challenge students with a range of needs.
The Role:
- Deliver and support a dynamic outdoor and vocational curriculum
- Lead activities such as bushcraft, orienteering, sports and team-building exercises
- Support students’ mental and physical wellbeing through active learning
- Encourage the development of social skills, confidence and self-esteem
- Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in outdoor education, sports coaching or similar
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Confidence in managing behaviour and de-escalating situations
- A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people
- Leaders Must hold a D1 driving license
- At least 3 months’ experience working with children or young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
